Back Office Services

We are also able to offer back office services for non-resident clients, which services include routine administrative and clerical services in relation to or in support of any type of business or professional activity.
These type of services may range from routine clerical tasks to accounting and any other specialized services which a company might require. Back office activities could therefore include a diverse range of administrative tasks and routine services such as form-filling work in support of trust services, shipping and maritime trade, processing and filling of insurance claims forms, repetitive administrative work involved in fund administration business and other professional services. In other words, generally any routine administrative, basic book-keeping and analogous administrative support services may be carried out.
Excluded from the back office definition are all those professional and business activities which would in terms of Maltese law be subject to specific regulatory licensing and control. These would include the core duties of a fund manager, insurance manager or a bank. The core activities of these regulated persons would normally be subject to special authorisation.
However, the administration support needs of these licensable categories of persons overseas may be provided through a back office operation established in Malta.
